Marshall County names Alyssa Finnegan as new head volleyball coachFree Access

Alyssa Finnegan, photo above, has been named the new Marshall County High School Head Volleyball Coach,

Marshall County Schools has announced the hiring of Alyssa Finnegan as the new MCHS Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Finnegan is a 2018 graduate of Murray State University where she lettered for the Racers Volleyball team. As a player, Alyssa was part of two Ohio Valley Conference championship teams. Her individual accomplishments include pre-season OVC All Conference player, OVC All-Tournament team, and OVC Offensive Player of the Week.

“Coach Finnegan brings valuable experience from different levels of competition that will help guide our volleyball team,” stated MCHS Athletic Director Mike Johnson. “She has an impressive plan for building on the successes of our MCHS volleyball team and we are excited to add her to our athletic staff.” Coach Finnegan has spent the past three years coaching in the Pu5h Volleyball Club and also served as an assistant coach for Murray High School. The Lady Marshals Volleyball begin practice on July 15th.
