Livingston’s girls beat Trigg in Fifth District softball gameFree Access

Livingston Central Lady Cardinals nabbed the lead late in the game in a 9-7 victory over Trigg County in Cadiz last night.

The game was tied at seven with Livingston Central batting in the top of the fifth when Calista Jennings doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Livingston collected nine hits and Trigg County had 14.

In the first inning, Trigg County got their offense started when L Breckel singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

who each had RBIs in the inning.

Madison Bolte earned the victory in the circle for the Lady Cardinals. Bolte surrendered three runs on eight hits over four and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero.

A Wade took the loss for Trigg County. Wade allowed seven hits and eight runs over four and a third innings.

Hadley Hargrove started the game for Livingston Central. The righty lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out one.

Victoria Joiner smacked one to left centerfield in the third inning going yard for the Lady Cardinals.

Livingston Central had nine hits in the game.  Madeline Norton and Joiner each had multiple hits for the Lady Cardinals. Calista Jennings, Emersyn Ramage and Neveah Grimm all doubled in the 5th inning sealing the lead for the Lady Cardinals.

Trigg County racked up 14 hits in the game.  Hendricks, Wade, McKenna Hendricks, Smock, A Alexander, and Breckel each managed multiple hits for Trigg County.  Hendricks led Trigg County with three hits in four at bats.
