Livingston Central’s Lady Cardinals won their season opener at home Monday night by defeating the St. Mary Lady Vikings 53-33. Livingston took a first half lead and then outscored the Lady Viking 19-3 in the third period to put the game out of reach.

Scoring leaders for Livingston Central included Wring with 24 points and 15 rebounds, Victoria Joiner scored nine points and had seven rebounds, Maggie Downey scored six points and had four rebounds, Kennedy Croft cored five points, and Emersyne Ramage scored three points and pulled down six rebounds.
Friday night the Lady Cardinals will travel to Marion to face Fifth District rival Crittenden County. Game time is 6 p.m.
