Lady Cards come behind to defeat Murray High 4-3Free Access

Livingston Central Lady Cardinals snagged a late lead and defeated Murray 4-3 on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.  The game was tied at three with Livingston Central batting in the bottom of the fifth when Kylie Chapman induced Aubrey Leahy to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Livingston earned the victory despite allowing Murray to score three runs in the fourth inning.  Murray’s big inning was driven by singles by Aiden Farr

and Marlee Riddle.

In the second inning, Livingston Central got their offense started when Hadley Hargrove singled scoring two runs.

Hargrove was credited with the victory for the Lady Cardinals. Hargrove pitched four innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Madeline Norton threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Norton recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Livingston Central.

Chapman took the loss for Murray. The hurler allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out ten.

Hargrove led Livingston Central with two hits in three at bats.

Victoria Burton went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Murray in hits.
