A big event this year is the Crazy Yorkie Ladies & Dude Derby Hat Yorkie Parade that will be held in downtown Grand Rivers on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at noon and open to the public.
Come out and cheer on the yorkies. Oh! have you ever seen 300 + yorkies in gorgeous dresses, Derby Hats, and decorated strollers? Come join the fun to behold this phenomenal site with the Crazy Yorkie Ladies & Dudes.
Open to the public vendor day on Friday, May 5 from 8 am to 1 pm in the Community Center. The CYL&D group vendors provide wonderful creations during vendor day. Plan to stop by and see what wonderful goodies you can find. Starts at Grand Rivers Community Center and travels up JH O’Bryan Avenue to Barkley Street. Parade ends in Little Lake Park where spectators can see all the “mini floats” up close.
