Calvert City Pickleball players went to Fenton Missouri to participate in the Show-Me State Winter Games hosted by Missouri

Pickleball Club on January 22-23, 2023. With 274 entries over two days on 18 courts, players brought home 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. Players agreed this was some of the toughest competition they had ever played. Some events had as

many as 26 teams competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Great job by brothers Cameron and Dustin Brown, who have only been playing Pickleball for 3 months, and competed against 10 teams to receive a Silver Medal in 3.0 Men’s Doubles. Sam Gold and Jason Jones competed against 18 teams to get their Bronze Medal in 3.5 Men’s Doubles.
Other participants included: Jacob Hill, Dax Myhand, Robby Robertson, Brent Thompson, Leigh Toby, Jenny Travis, Marvin Travis, and Jennifer Wilson.
